Wrist Wrap with Thumb Fixation bandage is used for damaged ligaments and tendons of the radio-carpal joint and the thumb, in long-term immobilization after removal of plaster casts, in cases of the instability of the joints of the thumb (habitual dislocation), after surgery on the joints of the thumb, when traumas or injuries of the radio-carpal joint and the thumb had happened (pain syndrome), chronic inflammatory processes of the joints of the thumb and adjacent soft tissues (arthritis, tendovaginitis, myositis), and when rheumatic damage to finger joints with pronounced pain syndrome is diagnosed. It can be used instead of a plaster cast (upon the doctor's recommendation only).

The simulated aluminum alloy stiffener is placed on the radial side of the radiocarpal joint, passes to the back surface of the thumb, and ends in the area of ​​the distal phalanx of the first finger. Due to the rib fixation of the finger, its abduction or adduction can be regulated. The necessary position of the finger and the shape of the rib modeling depend on the manifestation of symptoms of the disease or trauma and their severity

Contraindications and precautions.

Do not use: in open traumas and wounds, and in cases of individual intolerance to the components of the product. Non-sterile, do not use in case of local skin diseases. Not recommended for use with warming ointments. Contain latex, which can cause an allergic reaction.

INDICATION FOR USE:

Bandage size is chosen based on wrist circumference measurements (please, see the table). Adjust the necessary fixation of the carpal joint and thumb joint with Velcro fasteners.

Сonsult your doctor before use. The course of application or any individual adjustments has to be prescribed by the doctor.

PRODUCT CARE: wash with mild detergents at a temperature not higher than +35 C. Do not rub or wring out when washing and rinsing. Dry flat away from heat sources. Do not iron. Do not bleach (do not use chlorine-containing detergents). Do not dry clean. Drum drying is prohibited.

COMPOSITION: aeroprene - 60%, polyester - 20%, cotton - 15%, latex - 5%, metal stiffener.

SHELF LIFE: 60 months from the date of manufacture, subject to storage conditions. After the expiration date, the manufacturer does not guarantee its effectiveness.

STORAGE CONDITIONS: store in a dry place at a temperature from +5 °С to +40 °С, and protect from direct sunlight.
