Here are some tips about applying elastic bandages of medium-stretch

1. Bandages cannot be applied to swelling.

2. In the case of varicose veins, bandages should be applied after a long rest, but when it is not possible, you should lie down with your limbs raised for at least 15 minutes.

3. Always apply the bandage from the narrow area to the wide one and from the bottom to the top.

4. Every next overlap of the bandage should cover the previous layer by 1/3.

5. If the limb has turned pale or blue after applying the bandage, it is not a reason to take the dressing off. Usually, the color of the skin will return to normal during limb movements.

6. But if the numbness, tingling, or pulsation is felt - the bandage is made too tight and should be removed and remade.

7. To make a bandage with the correct compression, you need to hold it close to the skin and unwind it outward, with almost no effort to stretch the bandage.

8. And the last thing - an elastic bandage is worn during activity, and it has to be removed at sleep (to avoid the impairment of blood circulation).

When using elastic bandages of medium-stretch TM MedTextile, we can be sure of comfortable and long-lasting use (due to the high content of cotton) and uniform compression provided (due to high-quality and dense weaving). Plastic clips are included in the kit. They securely fix the bandage, do not break, and do not damage the medical equipment.
